ALMOST - Privacy Policy

Overview

ALMOST is a mobile game that respects your privacy. We collect minimal data and only what is necessary for core game features.

Data Stored Locally

The following data is stored on your device using localStorage and never transmitted unless you choose to submit a score:

• Game settings (sound, vibration, accessibility preferences)
• Game progress (high scores, run statistics, achievements)
• Player name (optional, chosen by you)
• Ghost replay data (your best run path)
• Daily challenge scores

Data Shared with Our Server

If you choose to submit your score to the global leaderboard, the following is sent:

• Your chosen player name
• Your score

This data is stored on our server (hosted via Supabase) solely for the purpose of displaying the global leaderboard. No other personal information is collected or transmitted.

No Tracking or Analytics

ALMOST does not use any analytics services, advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or third-party data collection tools. We do not track your behavior, location, or device information.

No Account Required

ALMOST does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide an email address.

Children's Privacy

ALMOST does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The optional leaderboard name is user-chosen and does not require real identity information.

Data Deletion

You can clear all local data at any time by clearing your browser/app data. To request removal of a leaderboard entry, contact us at the email below.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
